breakfast at Tiffany's

Saw the fabulous "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at the rooftop cinema yesterday evening. What would've made the movie more perfect wasanother blanket or something. I felt like an ice cube in the end. But seriously, nothing can top that movie.

the awful truth

As I flipped through some old photos to maybe find some pics of my fabulous hair colour I found...well...this picture. Taken in June 2006. I really don't know whether to laugh or cry over it. Can't believe I ever thought THAT was fashionable

copacabana

I've had the most fabolous past days with Hanna, Caro and Annu. Laulasmaa was perfect-drinking lots of mint tea and discussing tons of different topics. On Monday, we had a small fondue-party at Hanna's. Drove there by bike, wearing the ultimately wrong bicycle outfit-crop top and a black miniskirt. Even thought of heels but I'll leave that trick for another time.

Meanwhile, Hanna's zenit pics finally arrived.

Yep, lots of pictures this time. I also discovered a cool song: Michael Jackson-Pretty Young Thing. Fabolous.

disarrangement finds me, always

I hope my room never ends up the way it was just about...this morning. Can't believe the horrible mess I actually lived in.
But, to help myself keep it all arranged I bought a separate garment rack. My clothes finally have "breathing" space. Yay!
So, I'll share a few photos of my newly arranged room...it's actually good staying in here. All I want is the box of old photography stuff to look more...dashing and organized.
Tomorrow I'll be heading off to Laulasmaa with the girls, enjoying the few more days of summer break.

bow shoes

Don't remember where I found the picture and which season's shoes are they. Anyways, Alexis Mabille, genious and gorgeous idea.

bottomless is the new topless

Indeed, there were times when topless spreads shocked human kind by being too pornographic, nowadays it's a common sight seeing topless models in fashion magazines. As I'm beginning to see more and more bottomless(or naked) pics I'm of the opinion that i'ts the new shock hit that makes people uncomfortable looking at it.

resort 2011 review

As I've finally flipped through some collections I have to say resorts' collections almost never have anything special to offer. (I haven't viewed ALL collections and I'm only commenting on the ones that left an impression)
Chloe was pretty as usual, Alexander McQueen apparently misses the genial head designer because the pieces I saw were far from his unpredictable visions.
Chanel...amazed me but, not in a good way. There were 3-4 pieces I liked but mostly I couldn't stop wondering how did such weird(quite ugly in my opinion) things end up on Chanel's runway. Sorry, Lagerfeld, I'm a bit dissapointed.
Jean Paul Gaultier definitely didn't hold himself back with the resort collection as there were beautiful girly coloured evening gowns, reminded me of Barbie princesses actually.

Herve Leger made an impression, simple cuts but those "bandage" bodycon dresses and fringes charmed me.

I loved-loved-loved the cosmic explosions on the Christopher Kane's fabrics. The orange-red palettes didn't really work as well as colder colours but, the overall impression was marvellous.

Marc Jacobs's light pastels and elegant/girly clothes...wow. Not my style exactly but one just has to love these:

One thing that also needs mentioning are the Chloë Sevigny for O.C. shoes. (didn't have time to cut the pics so you'll have to see the whole outfits)

maniac

Time flies fast even if you don't sleep. Liisa's birthday was just fantastic.

Didn't sleep a minute that night, so I was laughing hysterically and acting like a complete crazy person during the first day of the camp. In the bus, the only thing keeping me awake was Michael Sembello-Maniac. It's a total energy boost track, plus, it characterized my condition 100%.
Now, back home I've just been sleeping and eating. I'm also planning on exploring style.com for Resort 2011 (I feel so ashamed I still haven't seen not even one collection).

wag your tail to the beat

This is the...third post today. Wow, I surely have time in my hands.
Tomorrow I'll be out of town for Liisa's birthday and probably skipping the night sleep. So I'll likely be in a crazy mood when I'm heading for another training camp at Karepa for 3 days.
At the moment I'm packing for the trip...unlike I usually do I've packed about 6 outfits so far...out of which many are just dresses. Not sure if I'm really ok right now, probably I'll discover some missing stuff while away.

le sacre du printemps

Had a major blackout today, for an hour at least the electricity was off. It was like my whole life was in a standstill. Creepy
FYI: I'm not actually a fan of classical music, just made an exception for this Strawinsky vinyl I found at the flea market. It has the charming songs that were used in "Coco and Igor". Somehow I keep listening to these tracks, I'm insane, I know.
